The Practical Lawyer has teamed up with Zurich, the UK’s leading provider of professional indemnity insurance to produce three innovative risk management training modules for Conveyancing, Personal Injury and Family law practitioners.

Each of these on-line modules has been written by leading experts in these fields and uses real life case examples from the Zurich archive of professional negligence claims.

Implementing a dedicated risk management training scheme within your firm will assist in identifying the risk areas before they become actual claims and will help towards ensuring that you can maintain a healthy professional insurance claims history.

The modules are Law Society approved for 3 hours of CPD. On successful completion, users will receive a CPD certificate.

The modules take a step by step transaction approach to each of the practice areas and include detailed expert narrative on what the risks are at each stage of the transaction, advice on how to mitigate that risk and real life examples of where claims have been made against solicitors in the past. To ensure that users have a full understanding of the issues raised and appreciate the impact on their practice, each section is supported by a series of questions testing the user’s knowledge before they can proceed to the next section.
