About the Author

Geraldine Morris is formerly a partner and head of the Family Department at Hart Brown Solicitors in Surrey where she led a team of ten lawyers and support staff covering all aspects of family law practice. She was also responsible for the firm’s quality standards and successfully led the firm’s application for ISO9001 accreditation. Geraldine qualified as a solicitor in 1992. A Resolution-accredited specialist with portfolios in pensions and substantial assets, she is also a Resolution-trained mediator.

She is currently the Editor of the Family Law Journal.
